The SEC’s Videos About Financial Planners Miss the Mark

The SEC recently released five educational videos to help consumers know the differences between brokers and investment advisors. These were pitiful. Obviously, the SEC doesn’t really understand what financial planners do, and they are putting too much responsibility on the consumer to figure out who will really help them in their search for financial security.
